This condo near river valley

Story time - Why this condo's design so weird one ar? 1st story so high up? My uncle(taxi driver) told me, there's a reason behind the design of this condo. Before this condo was built, the developers actually went to look for a feng shui shifu and the feng shui shifu told them to build the condo this way. Or else lots of unsual things will happen to the future residences living there.
The feng shui shifu said, " You architects have to leave the 1st 7 storeys empty as the Malay spirits from the nearby cemetery need to pass by this space everyday and so please don't build units within this space".

Imagine you are living in a home where malay spirits will pass by it everyday. Eyer!!!!!!
I managed to take a photo of the condo while I was in a cab this afternoon. But this rumour might be fake la.. You know, taxi driver's words are not very reliable.
